We have partnered with Donkey Balls since the day it began business 14 years ago. We are located in the heart of Kailua-Kona at the intersection of Kuakini and Kaiwi Street in the old industrial area. Come on in to see us and enjoy free samples, local made baked goods, hand crafted Hawaiian items, and watch how all of the goodies are made. And to make a great thing even better…we are adding an espresso machine and internet café!
Donkeys were imported to The Big Island to haul coffee in the days of Old Hawaii. Along the way many were set free to spend their days roaming the lush mountain side, and their descendants still do to this day. Keoki the donkey has proven to be a runaway favorite as an emblem and has developed into a mascot for our one of a kind Kona coffee and hand rolled chocolates for the past ten years and counting…
Each Donkey Ball starts with a large local macadamia nut and is handcrafted with over 30 layers of Ghirardelli chocolate. We have over 20 different types of signature Donkey Balls while always creating fun and new limited edition chocolates. Our 100% Kona coffee is the highest grade of coffee and is harvested from the farms in the hills of Holualoa, HI. Come visit our factory for your free samples and check out our daily specials.
